Allie & Cole {the reception}

Allie and cole's reception was full of that rustic elegance that i love so much and favors the farm beautifully. they brought in picnic tables for indoor and lawn seating. they also had signs welcoming and directing their guests, with the signs all having that urban/country charm. as the evening descended the bistro lights cast a warm comfortable glow, once again, complimenting the rustic charm of this beautiful reception.

Wadley Farms Castle

We are getting sooooo very close to having our castle completed (it only took us five years). i know some of you are just as excited as we are to see it all done, but for now, here are a few pictures to show you just how close we really are.

The Castle {the details}

Sarina & Matt {the wedding}

Sometimes during these chilly days i crave summer weddings. i may or may not spend a few minutes, okay hours, scrolling through our warm weather weddings sighing and daydreaming about warmth and color and walking through the vineyards with a light summer breeze...... 

i know, i'm totally a wedding nerd. 

today i sighed and swooned and warmed my soul with sarina and matt's lovely wedding shot by heather ellis photography. 

Our Winter Landscape

All this snow has blanketed the farm softening the edges and increasing the romantic atmosphere {as if this place could be any more romantic}. 

one area that is especially enchanting with all this glistening snow is the castle.
